We commit to understanding digital exclusion and how it impacts the people we work with.
Thinking ForWord Social CIC is committed to understanding how digital exclusion affects people across Scotland, especially people who may find it difficult to access support online, understand complex websites, use digital forms, or know where to go for help.
Our work focuses on people who may face barriers because of confidence, language, accessibility needs, rural access, health, poverty, or not knowing what local support exists. We are building our digital inclusion work around real user needs, plain English, accessible design, and feedback from community organisations.
We will continue learning from users, partners and local organisations so that our tools stay practical, safe and useful.
We commit to delivering on digital inclusion across our organisation, based on our understanding of need.
Thinking ForWord Social CIC is committed to making digital inclusion part of how we work, not an extra add-on.
We are developing accessible AI tools that help people find local support, public services, health information and community resources more easily. Our approach includes plain English answers, multi-language support, voice input, text-to-speech, mobile-friendly design and clear signposting to trusted services.
We also recognise that digital support must be safe, especially for vulnerable users. We are building our systems carefully so people are guided to the right help and crisis routes are protected.
We commit to identifying and utilising appropriate resources for digital inclusion.
Thinking ForWord Social CIC is committed to using our skills, technology and time to support digital inclusion in Scotland.
We are using our AI assistant technology to create accessible tools that help people find support more easily, including local community services, care and health-related information, and practical help. We are also working to make these tools available in a way that is simple to use and does not require people to understand complex systems.
Where possible, we will use trusted public data sources, accessibility features, testing, and community feedback to improve the quality and safety of the support we provide.
We commit to working in genuine partnership where we can, to promote and advance digital inclusion.
Thinking ForWord Social CIC is committed to working in genuine partnership with organisations that support communities across Scotland.
We want to work with charities, community groups, social enterprises, local support organisations and public sector partners to improve how people find help online. Our aim is not to replace existing services, but to make them easier to find, understand and access.
We will continue to learn from partners, share what we are building, listen to feedback, and improve our digital tools so they better support real community needs. Check out Ask Isa https://thinkingforwordsocial.com/ask-isa/
We commit to contributing towards a wider conversation, developing a sense of community and being part of something bigger - because digital inclusion is everyone's responsibility.
Thinking ForWord Social CIC is committed to being part of the wider digital inclusion conversation in Scotland.
We believe digital inclusion is about more than technology. It is about fairness, access, confidence, language, safety and making sure people can reach the help they need. We want to contribute by sharing learning from our work, supporting community-focused digital tools, and helping organisations think about how AI can be used safely and accessibly.
We will continue to engage with Scotland’s digital inclusion community, learn from others, and support work that helps people take part in digital life on their own terms.
