We commit to understanding digital exclusion and how it impacts the people we work with.

Edinburgh Remakery works to understand the impact of digital exclusion amongst the people and communities that we work with. Promoting digital inclusion across our communities is at the heart of our charitable mission.

We commit to delivering on digital inclusion across our organisation, based on our understanding of need.

On an annual basis we commit to providing at least 300 devices and data (where appropriate) to help people be digitally included. We commit to working with partners to provide digital skills training.

We commit to identifying and utilising appropriate resources for digital inclusion.

Through our Tech Gifting Programme we provide refurbished devices to people who may have a smartphone, but no larger format device to enable them to access vital services easily. We aim to gift 20% of the devices that we refurbish to this programme.

We commit to working in genuine partnership where we can, to promote and advance digital inclusion.

We work with grassroots organisations and other service providers to ensure that, through our Tech Gifting Programme, those most in need are supported with devices, data and digital skills support. We advocate for digital inclusion to be a right for everyone.

We commit to contributing towards a wider conversation, developing a sense of community and being part of something bigger - because digital inclusion is everyone's responsibility.

We aim to be a voice of authority around digital exclusion/inclusion in Scotland. We will work to influence policy where we can.
