We commit to understanding digital exclusion and how it impacts the people we work with.
We commit to deepening our understanding of digital exclusion and how it affects the underrepresented women we will be working with through our INCLUDE+ project at Dundee International Women’s Centre (DIWC). We recognise that digital exclusion is not just about devices or internet access, but also about cultural relevance, confidence, and the motivation to engage. By listening to participants’ experiences and reflecting on their specific barriers, we aim to shape workshops that respond meaningfully to their needs. This learning will also help us to advocate more effectively for inclusive approaches to digital skills and participation in Scotland.
We commit to delivering on digital inclusion across our organisation, based on our understanding of need.
We commit to delivering on digital inclusion across our organisation by embedding it into the way we work. Our upcoming INCLUDE+ project with Dundee International Women’s Centre (DIWC) will be developed with a person-centred approach, ensuring that underrepresented women feel comfortable, supported, and empowered when building digital skills. We recognise that digital inclusion must be sustained through culture change as well as practical delivery, and we will continue to review, learn, and adapt our approach based on the needs of the people we support.
We commit to identifying and utilising appropriate resources for digital inclusion.
We commit to identifying and utilising appropriate resources for digital inclusion by focusing on our upcoming INCLUDE+ project, starting 20 October, which will deliver AI literacy workshops for underrepresented women in Scotland. Working in partnership with Dundee International Women’s Centre (DIWC), we aim to make digital skills accessible and culturally relevant, ensuring participants gain both confidence and motivation to engage online. Our commitment is to use the expertise, networks, and resources available to us to reduce exclusion and empower communities.
We commit to working in genuine partnership where we can, to promote and advance digital inclusion.
We commit to working in genuine partnership to promote and advance digital inclusion. Our upcoming INCLUDE+ project with Dundee International Women’s Centre (DIWC) is a clear example of this commitment, as we will be co-delivering AI literacy workshops for underrepresented women in Scotland. By working together, we can combine expertise, cultural understanding, and community trust to create a more meaningful and inclusive learning experience. We will continue to explore opportunities to share learning, avoid duplication, and collaborate with organisations that share our goal of reducing digital exclusion.
We commit to contributing towards a wider conversation, developing a sense of community and being part of something bigger - because digital inclusion is everyone's responsibility.
We commit to contributing to the wider conversation on digital inclusion by sharing learning from our upcoming INCLUDE+ project with Dundee International Women’s Centre (DIWC). By engaging with the Charter community, we aim to highlight the experiences of underrepresented women in Scotland and ensure their voices are part of the national dialogue on digital inclusion. We believe that digital inclusion is everyone’s responsibility, and we will continue to contribute insights, resources, and reflections so that our work forms part of a collective effort across Scotland.
