We commit to understanding digital exclusion and how it impacts the people we work with.
We commit to providing training for our team and volunteers so they understand our digital inclusion commitments to the creative sector, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland and beyond. We will share our learning and understanding on how it impacts the people we work with.
We commit to delivering on digital inclusion across our organisation, based on our understanding of need.
We commit to ensure digital inclusion for all those who work for, volunteer, or take part in any DG Unlimited activities. And we will support our partners across the South of Scotland to do likewise and lead by example.
We commit to identifying and utilising appropriate resources for digital inclusion.
We commit to working with our public partners, education providers, DG Community Learning and Development, and third sector organisations to identify and utilise the correct resources for digital inclusion for our members, for the creative sector, and for the communities and individuals we work with.
We commit to working in genuine partnership where we can, to promote and advance digital inclusion.
DG Unlimited is a founding member of the Dumfries and Galloway Cultural Partnership which represents the whole cultural sector of our region and we work in partnership with all partners. We also work in partnership with DG Council, South of Scotland Enterprise, South of Scotland Destination Alliance, and with key cultural, business, and tourism organisations and businesses in the South of Scotland. We commit to including digital inclusion promotion and advancement in our existing partnership working, and in new partnerships in the future.
We commit to contributing towards a wider conversation, developing a sense of community and being part of something bigger - because digital inclusion is everyone's responsibility.
We commit to encouraging, leading, and contributing to the wider conversations around digital inclusion in the south of Scotland and beyond, with our partners and in support of those who are suffering from digital exclusion in our sector and in our communities.
