We commit to understanding digital exclusion and how it impacts the people we work with.
By completing regular "Getting To Know You" surveys we will continue to explore how digital exclusion impacts our tenants and local community. Using the information from these surveys allows us to continue the conversation with staff around digital exclusion by making it more relevant to the people they connect with day to day.
We commit to delivering on digital inclusion across our organisation, based on our understanding of need.
We will continue to offer digital help and support to bridge the gap between the least confident in our workplace and the "digitally confident". With increased understanding of the needs throughout the business, buy-in from across the association will continue to help in this journey.
We commit to identifying and utilising appropriate resources for digital inclusion.
By offering regular digital classes and drop-in sessions, we aim to build confidence in our tenant base and staff as a whole. Relaxed and inviting person-centred learning has always been at the core of our digital offer. Free and available as often as possible for anyone living or working in our area of operation. We will also continue to search out funding to offer free devices and connections for people struggling to afford the basic but also essential means to get online.
We commit to working in genuine partnership where we can, to promote and advance digital inclusion.
Working with other local organisations, providers and community venues has always been critical in achieving a successful digital program. Helping to spread the word and engage more and different people. Sharing knowledge and learning with these partners has also always been crucial to progressing digital inclusion in our areas.
We commit to contributing towards a wider conversation, developing a sense of community and being part of something bigger - because digital inclusion is everyone's responsibility.
We will continue to be as much a part of the conversation and grow the digital community as is possible. In the current climate it is more important than ever to build a community around supporting basic needs wherever possible!
