We commit to understanding digital exclusion and how it impacts the people we work with.

We will engage with our employees to understand ways in which they are digitally excluded. Following this we will then analyse these findings and ensure digital inclusion is embedded across the Council We will take a baseline measurement of digital skills in our organisation.

We commit to delivering on digital inclusion across our organisation, based on our understanding of need.

We will work to secure buy-in from different levels of our organisation to advance and promote digital inclusion We will review, monitor and evaluate the success of digital inclusion interventions or projects We will investing time and resources into the development and delivery of digital inclusion work We will embed digital inclusion into how we do our every day work.

We commit to identifying and utilising appropriate resources for digital inclusion.

We will continue to develop our existing Digital Champion programme to help people upskill. We will continue to invest in digital inclusion work We will consider donating devices to organisations which refurbish and distribute them.

We commit to working in genuine partnership where we can, to promote and advance digital inclusion.

We will continue to engage actively in partnerships, internal and external, in support of digital inclusion. We will continue to share resources and learning with other organisations to reduce or avoid duplication. We will continue to collaborate with other agencies and organisations to promote our services.

We commit to contributing towards a wider conversation, developing a sense of community and being part of something bigger - because digital inclusion is everyone's responsibility.

We will continue to participating in national conversations through intermediaries like SCVO. We will continue to contribute to national resources and share our knowledge freely. We will actively promote the Charter beyond our own organisation. We will continue to take any opportunity to promote and advocate for digital inclusion.
