We commit to understanding digital exclusion and how it impacts the people we work with.

We will engage with our staff and service users through surveys, focus groups, and individual interviews to understand the barriers they face in accessing digital tools and services. This process will help us identify and address the ways in which they are digitally excluded.

We commit to delivering on digital inclusion across our organisation, based on our understanding of need.

We will develop and highlight the importance of embedding digital inclusion into our services, showing how it will benefit both staff and the wider community, and identifying the resources and partnerships required to achieve this.

We commit to identifying and utilising appropriate resources for digital inclusion.

Undertaking an asset mapping exercise to understand what’s available and how it can be used within the organisation. Linking in with partner organisations who offer digital resources for the women to have easy access too. We will develop a Digital Champion to help people upskill including staff, volunteers and learners. Continuing to invest and devlop our digital inclusion work.

We commit to working in genuine partnership where we can, to promote and advance digital inclusion.

DIWC will strengthen existing partnerships and seek new collaborations with local organisations such as Stobswell Connect, Dundee City Council, and digital inclusion initiatives. Internally, we will engage with staff and volunteers to ensure that all parts of the organisation are aligned in our efforts to support digital inclusion among the women and communities we serve. We will map local organisations, funders, and tech companies to identify key partners who can help DIWC achieve our digital inclusion goals. This will include identifying those who can provide digital training, funding, or devices to our staff and service users

We commit to contributing towards a wider conversation, developing a sense of community and being part of something bigger - because digital inclusion is everyone's responsibility.

Participating in national conversations through intermediaries like SCVO. Contributing to national resources and sharing our knowledge within the organisation. Actively promoting the Charter beyond your own organisation and share with partner organisations We will take all opportunities to promote and advocate for digital inclusion.
