We commit to understanding digital exclusion and how it impacts the people we work with.

The ALLIANCE's digital programmes engage with communities, seeking to gain insights into the causes of digital exclusion.

We commit to delivering on digital inclusion across our organisation, based on our understanding of need.

The ALLIANCE will monitor and evaluate its digital programmes, seeking to optimise their effectiveness and target activity to where it is needed most. We will collaborate across the organisation and with external partners to maximise impact.

We commit to identifying and utilising appropriate resources for digital inclusion.

Have developed the 'Discover Digital Guide' which aims to inform people and professionals about the use of digital tools to promote health and wellbeing. This guide is available for the Open Learn Create platform, as a SSSC Open Badge and on the Right Decision Service website.

We commit to working in genuine partnership where we can, to promote and advance digital inclusion.

We will use our membership (>3600 individuals and organisations) to promote digital inclusion. We facilitate the Digital Citizen Panel which has over 140 members, which tackles various issues including digital inclusion in relation to health and social care. We have worked in partnership with Scottish Care and VoX Scotland to develop a set of human rights principles in digital health and social care.

We commit to contributing towards a wider conversation, developing a sense of community and being part of something bigger - because digital inclusion is everyone's responsibility.

We will communicate regularly with our members about the various issues around digital inclusion, and raise awareness of relevant local and national initiatives, as we become aware of them. We will represent our members on various national programme boards, and highlight the key issues around digital inclusion facing our members.
